New Venue for Didcot’s Annual Craft Fair
Didcot’s annual craft fair on Sunday 7th November will this year be in The Nexus Leisure Centre, Mereland Road from 10. 30 -4pm .
Didcot’s Civic Hall is being refurbished and whilst it was hoped to have some of the hall it has now been decided to close the hall completely until March 2011.
Didcot Chamber of Commerce who organise the annual event to raise funds for their highly successful Christmas Street Fair and were determined the event should stay in Didcot.
The Nexus Leisure Centre will provide some challenges to overcome but organiser Jeanette Howse said it will cost a bit more to put on with new signs needed, tables to hire and car parking to be negotiated, however The Nexus Leisure Centre have been very accommodating and we are sure the crafters and visitors will have another successful event.
Over 50 hand made quality exhibitors have already booked their stands and range from jewellery, cards, art, preserves, wood and bags.
